Part 2 - Norviskrall, the Table, the Book and the QuillI now add the table. I've already fixed the colouration; I didn't want to bore you with what you already know.

And then I "clone" it, blacken it, blur it, and add shadows where needed.

Now we will jump one step back, you could call it, since Norv exists both behind and in front of the table at the same time. His elbows are lying on the table, so they will exist in front of it, along with his chest, but his stomach and legs exist behind it, since they are below the table. This Norv is composed of two different poses, one where he's holding a 2H weapon, albeit he doesn't in the picture, and one where he's sitting.
They say you become what you eat. In this case: chicken legs.Along with the table, it looks like this:

Now, the book. That was a hard nut to crack, but it was actually the first one. I was checking out different poses in WoWModelViewer, and I saw that the normal "readyattack 2hander" looked like he was holding a book, and if you put a quill between his index finger and the middle finger, it'd look like he was writing.
Well, back to the book. When I had angled the book as I wanted, I cut out the part of the hand that'd be on top of the book, since one part of the hand is behind it, and the fingers are in front of it, and positioned it until it looked right.

As you can see the top of the fingers are missing. If you now back up to where you can see his hand, you'll see that's not an easy way to hold a book, so I had to cut off the fingers and position them all by hand, changing their thickness and cutting and slicing them down to size. You can see the difference if you compare them to their prevous angling.

Now the feather quill. That one was easy on the other hand. I just took a feather from WMV, made it longer, and bent it with CC Bend It, which bent it a tad, so that it didn't cover his face.

And as I've shown you, I cut out a twin from the hand, the part that was in reality covering the quill, since he can't hold it like that, and put it over the quill. And voilá!
Apparently he can both read and write. Who would've expected that from an orc?Next I add the final gadgets: A pile of books and a rolled together scroll.

And now I add the shadows and the blur. Now it's starting to look very dramatic!

The last touch! I add another Adjustment Layer, and add a new glow, but when I was skimming through different types of glows, I found something called "Silhouette Luma", which darkened everthing that wasn't light, which gave the light and dark parts a nice contrast, allthough it was so dark that I had to lighten the entire picture. The entire thing gave it a nice sepia tone, which I found fitting, allthough it reduced the bitrate quality of the colouration. But I went with it, since it looked nice anyhow. The last thing I did was to add a very little amount of blur to the entire picture, to smoothen rough edges and contribute to the sepia-feeling.
And I said: Let there be pictures.
And there was pictures.

I hope you enjoyed it!
