This is a extract from #machinima at IRC today, where BaronSoosdon just realized his project render crashed over night. Since I've had the similiar problem back when I made Nogg-aholic the Movie, I asked him how he stores his project files, and this is what he showed me:

Just as I thought, he has been saving all his projects in the same folder, and his Sony Vegas has become increasingly slower and instable. This is a really weird issue with Sony Vegas Video, but by saving your project files in the same folder, and then opening one of them, I think Vegas somehow caches/buffers them all into memory, resulting in out of memory issues.

This is what my old Nogg-aholic project looked like, with all the project files stored in the same folder, and it caused me alot of problems that you can see from these images below:

I tried everything, even moving all of my assets and projects to a high-end computer at the University with twice the memory than mine, and it still resulted in the same issues. I almsot had given up on the project and were about to archive the files into folders for potentionally giving it a new try in the future. That's when I realized, it worked perfectly fine when the project files were stored in the seperate folders instead of the same one.
This is what I retold BaronSoosdon, and he tried it aswell, and afterwards his project both loaded faster and seemed more stable. That's why I'm writing this to all of you now, to avoid similiar issues in the future, try seperating your project files and it will hopefully resolve your problems. That, or buy more RAM.
